Who will be responsible for my case?

Mr. Eskander handles most criminal matters personally. It is possible that one of the competent office attorneys might be handling your case instead of Mr. Eskander, but under his supervision and monitoring. Either Mr. Eskander or the associate will then be responsible for your case from start to finish and will be able to advise you about and assist you with it whilst it is ongoing.

What can I do if I get arrested?

You must refrain from any communication with the arresting officer regardless of your guilt or innocence. Latest studies show that coercive and deceptive police techniques during interrogations are designed to solicit and obtain Miranda Waivers and Confessions even from innocent people. Once you say “I will only talk in the presence of my attorney”, police cannot initiate a dialogue with you unless you break the silence and decide to talk to them again. So stay quiet until we see you.

If your child is under the age of 17, you must call the office immediately before your child is questioned by the police. You are entitled to be present during the interrogation and if requested, an assistance of counsel must be provided to the juvenile as well.
